My paint bucket isn't working. The main reason could be the faulty version of the photoshop which cannot be repaired easily until the software is changed. When i click on the sky in the photo, the paint bucket won't work.

It fills around whatever object i may have in another layer. The fill tool is located in your photoshop toolbar on the side of your screen. As monika suggests, you must do this before it will work.

When i have more than one layer open if i try to fill an empty layer with a color i have to close out all other layers because it will not fill the layer completely.
